May 2025 - Week 4
MCT becomes available in an Early Access State - this phase will commence shortly before the closure of the MCT testers stage where anyone can get involved and try it out for free.
Early Access
Early access started on Sunday 18th May and allows the purchase of MCT at a reduced price that additionally provides one year of MCT Online that begins on full release. The closure of the MCT Testers phase has been announced and will terminate on Friday 23rd at 23:59 UTC.
MCT Updates
An update is planned for this week that will enable the MCT trial mechanism, allowing users to try out MCT completely unrestricted for 14 days. A number of fixes will also be included in this update such as improvements to the DTC export process, enhancements to a number of Kneeboard tags and issues setting Ground Speed under specific circumstances. New Waypoint types are also being added to better Flight Plan development for attack helo's.
June 2025 - Week 1
An update to the default Kneeboards included with MCT is being planned, with the addition of a Comms card. Enhancements to the MCT library that allow the inclusion of weapon systems is nearly finished with an amount of work required on top to provide and verify this informaion.
MCT Library
Changes to how MCT interacts with the community Library are being tested at the time of writing this and will be available in this period. Specifically, this will improve how MCT polls the Library and requests missing data from the Library version you have installed with MCT.
June 2025 - Week 2
A number of missing UI elements will be available, namely with the Logistics and Facilities mechanism. This will significantly improve the available options you have to declare and use these within your Ops, allowing a higher degree of customisation for a number of use cases
